Ethical Bits
Around 2000 Marek Kijewski developed the Ethical Bits system. Its basic modules were cubes and T-shapes, assembled into larger structures. The system combined the idea of a unit of information with the oppositions of good and evil, spirit and matter, and references to Suprematism and numerology.
GATES@PL
The modular gates were titled Hell Gates, Heaven Gates, Papa Gates, Bill Gates and Golden Gates. The works were presented at the GATES@PL exhibition at CCA Ujazdowski Castle in 2001. U-jazdowski’s Mediateka holds a recording of the accompanying talk with Marek Kijewski.
